By placing an order with Flow Designs Australia, you agree to the following Terms of Sale. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase.

Payment & Order Processing

All invoices must be paid in full before an order will be processed, shipped, or made available for pickup.

Orders will not be released until payment has been received and cleared. Flow Designs Australia reserves the right to cancel or delay any order where payment has not been completed.

Delivery & Pickup

Shipping is available to domestic and international customers. Pickup from Flow Designs Australia may be arranged by prior agreement with our team.

Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and may vary due to production schedules, courier delays, or circumstances outside our control.

Taxes, Duties & Import Charges

International shipments may be subject to additional taxes, duties, customs charges, or import fees imposed by the destination country.

All such charges are the responsibility of the buyer
Flow Designs Australia does not collect or estimate these charges
We are not responsible for delays, costs, or losses arising from customs clearance

If you nominate delivery to a port, depot, or equivalent location only, Flow Designs Australia is not responsible for handling, release, storage, or onward transport costs once the shipment arrives.

Flow Designs Australia is not a registered tax authority and does not collect taxes on behalf of foreign governments.

Returns & Exchanges

Purchases made through Flow Designs Australia are final unless otherwise agreed to by our management team.

Returns or exchanges for change of mind are considered solely at the discretion of Flow Designs Australia and, if approved:

Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
Products must be returned with all hardware, packaging, and components
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer

Refunds will only be processed once the returned product has been received and inspected by Flow Designs Australia.

Refunds of original shipping costs are not guaranteed and will only be included where explicitly agreed in writing.

Fitment Responsibility

All Flow Designs Australia products are designed and tested to fit OEM bodywork as outlined in the product description.

Refunds or exchanges will not be granted for incorrect application, vehicle variation, or incompatibility where fitment information was available prior to purchase.

If you are unsure whether a product is suitable for your vehicle, you must contact Flow Designs Australia before placing your order.

Cosmetic Finish & Manufacturing Characteristics

Flow Designs Australia products are manufactured using CNC-machined ABS plastic, HDPE, and composite materials designed for durability, precise fitment, and real-world automotive use.

Due to the nature of these materials and manufacturing processes, cosmetic imperfections may be present on delivered products. These characteristics are inherent to production and may include, but are not limited to:

Light surface scuffs or handling marks
Tooling marks, machining lines, or edge variations
Minor finish inconsistencies, particularly on non-visible or underside surfaces (the side facing the road)

These cosmetic characteristics do not affect the structural integrity, performance, or intended function of the product and are not considered defects.

Underside Finish

Due to sheet manufacturing, transport, handling, and CNC processing, we cannot guarantee a completely imperfection-free finish on underside surfaces. Minor cosmetic marks on underside faces are normal and unavoidable within standard manufacturing tolerances.

Gloss Finish Products

Gloss black products are supplied without a protective transport film due to material availability and size constraints.

As a result:

Minor cosmetic marks may be visible upon delivery
Gloss finishes are more susceptible to visible handling marks than textured finishes

Minor cosmetic marks on gloss finish products are not considered damage or defects under these Terms.

Customers seeking a flawless cosmetic appearance may choose to carry out additional preparation such as polishing, painting, or refinishing. This is common practice within the automotive aftermarket industry.

Returns Related to Cosmetic Appearance

If a customer is not satisfied with the cosmetic condition of a product upon delivery:

The product may be returned unused and unmodified in accordance with our Returns Policy for a full refund
Partial refunds, discounts, store credit, or compensation are not guaranteed for cosmetic characteristics that fall within normal manufacturing tolerances

Once a product has been installed, modified, sanded, polished, painted, or otherwise altered, it is no longer eligible for return or refund.

Damaged Products (Transit-Related)

If a product is damaged during transit, the customer must notify Flow Designs Australia within a reasonable timeframe after delivery and prior to installation.

Clear photos of the damage, packaging, and contents will be required to assess the claim.

Flow Designs Australia does not cover:

Damage occurring after installation
Damage caused by incorrect installation
Damage resulting from reduced ground clearance
Damage caused by road debris, weather, environmental conditions, or normal wear and tear

The final determination of what constitutes transit damage or normal wear is at the discretion of Flow Designs Australia after reviewing the circumstances.

Installation & Modification Disclaimer

Flow Designs Australia is not responsible for damage resulting from incorrect installation, failure to follow supplied instructions, or modifications to the product, vehicle, or mounting points.

Any modification may affect fitment, performance, and warranty coverage.

Warranty

Flow Designs Australia offers a 10-Year Warranty on eligible HDPE splitter products purchased from 1 January 2020 onwards. Full warranty terms are available on our Warranty page and warranty cards supplied with the product.

Warranty Coverage

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage resulting from:

Misuse, neglect, or improper installation
Accidents or impact damage
Abrasion, solvents, chemicals, or environmental exposure
Extreme temperatures
Normal wear and tear
Transport damage

Accessories or consumable components may carry a different warranty period as outlined on the product page.

Warranty Assessment & Claims

To make a warranty claim:

Proof of purchase is required
The product must be returned to Flow Designs Australia for assessment
All shipping, packaging, taxes, and duties to Flow Designs Australia are the responsibility of the customer

Flow Designs Australia will determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. If approved, the product will be repaired or replaced at Flow Designs Australia’s expense, including return shipping.

If the claim is not covered, all associated costs will be borne by the customer.

Repairs performed by anyone other than Flow Designs Australia will void this warranty.

Warranty is not transferable and does not apply to second-hand products.

Speed & Usage Disclaimer

Flow Designs Australia does not support or condone reckless driving or use of vehicles in contradiction of road laws.

Our products are designed for enthusiast use and have been tested up to 200km/h in controlled track environments. This does not constitute a guarantee for sustained high-speed operation.

Use beyond intended conditions may place stress on OEM mounting points and result in damage or failure. Flow Designs Australia is not liable for damage resulting from reckless driving, motorsport use, or use outside applicable road laws.

Customers intending to use products in motorsport or non-standard applications should contact Flow Designs Australia prior to purchase.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flow Designs Australia is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use, installation, or inability to use our products.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.
